Christmas unveils God’s hand at work for salvation of humanity. His Hand is revealed especially during times of darkness and hardship.

This Nativity celebrates God’s dwelling among us. Emmanuel takes our vulnerable humanity then he elevates and sanctifies it, placing it at His right hand.

Lord, grant peace to our suffering Levant!

عيد الميلاد الإلهيّ يكشف لنا يد الله التي تعمل لخلاص البشريّة والتي تَظهر بشكلٍ خاصّ في أظلم الأوقات وأصعبها. هذا العيد هو حضور الله معنا. عمّانوئيل يأخذ إنسانيّتنا بآلامها وبمحدوديّتها ويرفعها ويقدّسها ويُجلِسها عن يمينه. أعطنا أيّها الربّ السلام في شرقنا المعذّب فقد أعطيتنا كلّ شيء. إنّك الآب الحقّ.

 

La Nativité du Christ dévoile la main de Dieu en action pour le Salut de l’humanité. Cette main se manifeste surtout dans les moments les plus difficiles de notre histoire.

En cette Fête de l’Incarnation, l’Emmanuel épouse notre humanité vulnérable, l’élève, la sanctifie et la fait siéger à Sa droite.

Seigneur, accorde la paix à notre Levant martyrisé !
